In recent years, with the expansion of the application scope of aluminum profiles and the development of the rail transportation industry, the consumption scale of industrial aluminum profiles has also maintained a rapid growth. The supply and demand relationship of industrial aluminum profiles has been relatively balanced. However, at present, the proportion of industrial aluminum profiles in China's aluminum profile consumption is still lower compared to developed countries. There is still considerable potential for the growth of the consumption of industrial aluminum profiles in China. 

 

Industrial aluminum profiles, as one of the main varieties of aluminum profiles, have advantages such as one-time extrusion molding, high mechanical and physical properties, good thermal conductivity, and high specific strength. They are increasingly widely used in fields such as transportation, electronics, machinery, light industry, petroleum, chemical industry, aviation, and aerospace. 
In terms of industrial aluminum profile consumption, with the expansion of the application scope of the aluminum profile industry and the development of the rail transportation industry, the consumption scale of industrial aluminum profiles has maintained a rapid growth in recent years. From the changes in industrial aluminum profile consumption, public data shows that from 2016 to 2020, the aluminum consumption scale in China has been continuously expanding, and the production-sales ratio has basically remained at around 89%, with industrial aluminum consumption accounting for approximately 34% of the total aluminum consumption. It is estimated that in 2020, the consumption of industrial aluminum profiles in China will be approximately 6.06 million tons, with a year-on-year growth of 5.4%. 
In the future, as our country's industrialization process progresses and the aluminum profile industry develops rapidly, the proportion of industrial aluminum profiles in consumption is bound to increase. The Chinese industrial aluminum profile industry will, in the new stage, rely on its comprehensive strength to improve the quality of internal products, enrich product varieties, and participate in market competition. 
Furthermore, from the perspective of the consumption proportion of industrial aluminum profiles, compared with 57% in developed countries such as the United States and 55% in Europe, there is still a huge potential for the demand for industrial aluminum profiles in China. It is expected that in the next 5 to 10 years, the consumption of industrial aluminum profiles in China will continue to increase, and the proportion of industrial aluminum profiles in aluminum products will rise from around 34% to around 45%. By 2026, the demand for industrial aluminum profiles in China will increase to 7.92 million tons. 
In the production and processing of industrial aluminum profiles, controlling the hardness is crucial. Even a slight deviation can cause trouble for the users. So, how can we solve the problem of too low hardness in industrial aluminum profiles? 
1. Setting and Control of the Temperature in the Aluminum Profile Tempering Furnace: Generally, there is a certain error between the actual temperature of the tempering furnace and its apparent temperature. When setting the apparent temperature, it is necessary to make the setting based on the actual temperature inside the furnace and closely monitor the fluctuations in the tempering furnace temperature. 
2. Aging and insulation of aluminum profiles: Aging should be carried out strictly in accordance with the process requirements. The insulation time should be appropriate to prevent insufficient aging or over-aging from resulting in insufficient hardness. 
3. The extrusion and partitioning of aluminum profiles should not be too dense. There should be gaps between the materials, especially for small and thick materials that are not ventilated, the gaps should be larger. When pipes and small sheets are combined in a frame, the pipes should be placed at the bottom, which is conducive to the circulation of the heating air. 
4. Before loading the aluminum profiles, separate the other special alloys of 6xx from the ordinary 6063 alloy for aging in the furnace. If it is indeed necessary to perform aging in the same furnace due to production reasons, special alloy processing should be adopted for aging. The hardness of the extruded aluminum profiles is low before aging and cannot be used as finished products. Therefore, generally speaking, they must be aged to enhance their strength. Generally speaking, aging can be divided into natural aging and artificial aging.
